Choco-la Chocolates has been trying to do something different for Chocolate Day world wide (July 7) for the past 4 years. This year the aim is to make cancer-afflicted children smile. It has come up with an exclusive box of assorted Choco-la Chocolat es consisting of 26 chocolates. Some of the interesting varieties are marzipan, cake chocolate, roasted cashew, date ‘n’ walnut and nuts ‘n’ caramel. Part of the sale proceeds will go towards Mahesh Memorial Chennai which helps cancer-afflicted children. The last date for placing orders is July 1. There are some people who place orders for boxes of Choco-la Chocolates to be gifted to the children at the institute instead of it being couriered to them. The charge for delivering a box at Pondicherry is Rs.500 and to destinations anywhere out of Pondicherry, an additional Rs.100 (the extra amount being the courier charge).
