Rakesh Singhvi might not ring any bells but say Rocky S and one immediately thinks of the ravishing Raveena Tandon sashaying to Tu Cheez Badi hai Mast, Mast.
After his graduation from J. D. Institute of Fashion, Rocky was happy earning 2,000 a month at Roopam Stores in Mumbai.
All changed with one shoot with Manisha Koirala and soon he was designing for the dudes and divas of tinsel town including Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Amisha Patel, Sridevi and Rekha. His prêt line followed and his foray into retail was a huge success with Boulevard Benzer. The designer shares a six-point guide - what the layperson can learn from the stars - with METRO PLUS.
Physical fitness: All the stars of tinsel town are very conscious of their bodies and that is a worthwhile trait to pick up. Do regular workouts and eat a healthy diet and you would surely look like a star!
Make up: The trend is now towards the natural look as under-toned scores over the heavy-duty stuff.
Hiding flaws: Learn to camouflage imperfections and enhance plus points. Use clothes and make up to look taller, shorter, cover love handles whatever.
Be professional: The stars have worked hard to get to where they are. They work 24x7 to make a name for themselves. This is a trait totally worth emulating.
Be cordial: Stars are nice to others off screen as well - it does not hurt to be affable to people.
