A 10-day Theppotsavam festival is being celebrated at the Arulmigu Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Nachiarkoil, Kumbakonam from December 12 to 22. The Lord is being adorned with different alankaram on these days.

Today (Dec. 21), being the ninth-day of the fest, the deities Srinivasa and Vanjulavalli thayar will be taken out in procession in ‘Go ratham’ at 6 a.m. and Theppotsavam will be performed at 6 p.m. Sapthavarnam will be on December 22.

A seven-week special archanai will be performed at the temple on behalf of the devotees. Those who cannot go in person may send Rs.105 in the form of money order or cheque to the secretary, Arulmigu Srinivasaperumal temple, Nachiarkoil – 612602, Kumbakonam.
